FundsTiger.com, which operates the Online Lending Marketplace for SMEs, MSMEs and Retail Borrowers, is proud to announce the integration with Government of India’s Digital Locker (https://digilocker.gov.in/). This integration makes it easy for SME and MSME borrowers applying for their Business Loans as well as individuals applying for Personal Loans to share their documents directly from the GoI’s DigiLocker via a totally secure process. As per the DigiLocker “Registered Requesters” Public Dashboard, FundsTiger becomes the FIRST “FinTech” company in India to enable this integration – thus enhancing Government of India’s Digital India push. FundsTiger remains committed to Democratization of Finance enabling credit financing for people and businesses leveraging technology.

Earlier this year in January 2017, FundsTiger became the first FinTech company in India to launch its own “Loan ChatBot”.
“Targeted at the idea of paperless governance, DigiLocker is a platform for issuance and verification of documents & certificates in a digital way, thus eliminating the use of physical documents. Indian citizens who sign up for a DigiLocker account get a dedicated cloud storage space that is linked to their Aadhaar (UIDAI) number. Organizations that are registered with Digital Locker can push electronic copies of documents and certificates (e.g. driving license, Voter ID, School certificates) directly into citizens lockers. Citizens can also upload scanned copies of their legacy documents in their accounts. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using the eSign facility.
This document briefly describes the user flow for a Loan Applicant to fetch and share the relevant loan related documents required via DigiLocker.

For sharing a document, DigiLocker works on the Consent based Architecture where you login to your DigiLocker account and then select and share the document present in your DigiLocker for your loan application.
For example, user can upload a copy of Bank Statements, Electricity Bill (as proof of address) in his/her DigiLocker and then share it with FundsTiger.com
In addition, DigiLocker provides the ability to eSign a document for free. This is a Digital Signature that is provided by CDAC.
